Daily Southeast Region Eggs
Prices are steady with a firm undertone. Offerings are moderate. Retail
demand is fairly good to good. Distributive demand varys by location and
is light to mostly moderate. Supplies are generally moderate for trade
requirements. Market activity is moderate. Eastern region breaking stock
floor stocks are light to moderate; breaking schedules range reduced to
extended. Spent hen offerings are sufficient for the unaggressive and
light demand.
PRICES TO RETAILERS, SALES TO VOLUME BUYERS, USDA GRADE A AND GRADE A,
WHITE EGGS IN CARTONS, CENTS PER DOZEN.
